A few months ago, when the first case of Covid 19 was reported in Kenya, at least everyone was talking about it. Those who knew nothing about it, those who pretended to be well informed about this life-threatening virus, medical practitioners who were and still are the front-line workers, the internet was ablaze with different articles and information about it, bloggers were also not left behind. COVID-19 AND HYGIENE

 Hand washing has been one of the most important ways of controlling the spread of most infectious diseases. With COVID 19 pandemic,it has been highly regarded as key to preventing this disease. Many have been forced to adhere to different measures and regulations given by the ministry of health which include; frequently washing hands with soap and running water, social distancing especially in crowded places, wearing masks, avoiding social gatherings among others. In Moi university main campus students are seen to have greatly improved their hand hygiene. At the entrance of each school, they have set up hand washing places, each student who wants to access the schools has to pass by and wash their hands with soap and running water or else they’ll be denied entry. This is not limited to students only, but also applies to everyone else who wants to have access into the premises.
